On November 14, 2006 Lori celebrated her 25th year in radio. Her highly rated morning show has been heard on WKZO since 1995. A shining example that "life begins at 40", Lori has been named "Kalamazoo's Sexiest Celebrity" by THE KALAMAZOO GAZETTE and has appeared on area stages in successful productions of "Mame", "Gypsy", and "Annie".
Extremely active in charitable endeavors, Lori's A Holiday Dish to Pass cookbook has raised over $325,000 (& counting) over the past 6 years for "Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes", the school systems of Kalamazoo County and numerous other non-profit organizations.
This project received the prestigious "Best in Category" Award for Community Involvement from the MICHIGAN ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS in 2007, a MERIT award from the MAB in 2005 as well as a Special Tribute from the State of Michigan.
Lori has mentored countless young broadcasters who are now working professionally in radio and television all over the country.
