GRANDVILLE -- A West Michigan high school is going for broke in the quest to set a new viral video world record. More than 14-hundred students from Grandville High School reportedly participated in what is believed to be a world record lip sync. The one-take video shows a group of people lip-syncing and performing to the same songs.
The idea was inspired by a lip dub done by 172 Canadian college students to the Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling." That video has been seen more than five-million times on YouTube. Grandville audio-visual instructor Terry Blevins said they wanted to up the ante, using 14-hundred students and more songs.
