Small Plane Crashes Near Coldwater

COLDWATER -- There has been another private plane crash in southwest Michigan, this time on the Southeast side of Coldwater.  A private pilot had to set his single engine plane down in an open area near Sprague Street when his engine failed yesterday. 

He was trying to make it to Branch County Memorial Airport but fell short.   He clipped some trees, and took down some wires but managed to avoid hitting anything solid and walked away from the wreckage.
